Entertainment deck to integrate two bespoke tiny houses
This unique project was completed in collaboration with LJM Tiny Homes, bringing together thoughtful design and innovative outdoor living to showcase the growing tiny home lifestyle movement on the Sunshine Coast.
The brief was to design and construct a modular composite deck that seamlessly connects two bespoke tiny homes, creating a shared outdoor living space that enhances both functionality and lifestyle.
Using My Deck composite decking in Sunshine Sands, the light coastal tones complement the clean, modern design of the tiny homes while maintaining a natural outdoor feel. The modular deck system was carefully designed to integrate with the layout of the homes, allowing the outdoor space to act as the central hub for relaxing, dining, and entertaining.
A Deck Designed to Connect Living Spaces
Rather than treating the tiny homes as separate dwellings, the decking platform brings the two structures together through a cohesive outdoor living area. The result is a practical yet beautiful solution that demonstrates how smart design can expand living space beyond the walls of a home.
